The Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE) has a long and recognised tradition of over 40 years working to advance international trade and business with the United Kingdom.
COBCOE is supporting and developing the various aims and ambitions of partners and member chambers by providing practical help and assistance to companies looking to access markets across the world’s largest trading block.
The aim of the project is to assist 30,000 UK midcaps and SME’s to make their export ventures as successful as possible.
As a ‘non-commercial’ organisation, COBCOE has contracted B&Y to use its expertise and facilities to assist in making this project as successful as possible by aiding & seeking the optimum commercial partners, recommending the advice that will be given, and the general logistics involved.

BBA – Helping you find the right finance
B&Y is delighted to be working with the British Bankers Association (BBA)
The BBA is the UK’s leading association for the banking and financial services sector, representing the interests of more than 240 member organisations with a worldwide presence in 180 countries. The BBA represents the view of its members to policymakers, regulators, the media and all key stakeholders across the UK, Europe and beyond.
The banking industry is committed to financing viable businesses and providing help and support to British businesses, in order that they can fulfil their commercial potential and support economic growth. The BBA is working closely with industry to guide and assist businesses, helping to support business heads to share best practice and access information from specialists in areas such as exporting, asset finance and alternative finance and business support, which can help to place them in a better situation should they wish to apply for finance.
B&Y has been contracted to handle a specific initiative which is aimed at a particular defined set of British private sector companies identified by B&Y, and which has been carefully vetted by B&Y by applying a qualification criterium. This has produced a target market of approximately 50,000 companies which corresponds to the largest UK SME and Midcap organisations.
Part of our remit is to carefully examine the different industry sectors in which these companies might well need help, as well as being relevant to the banks in terms of taking steps to safeguard possible future negotiated loans and overdraft facilities with the 50,000 companies.

Published in association with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), Mum Plus One contains expert advice, topical features and need-to-know facts covering pregnancy and newborn issues, making it an essential guide to pregnancy, birth and baby’s first year. The magazine is supported by a range of editorial partners – including the Money Advice Service, Department for Transport and Department for Education – and also features expert advice from the Department of Health and NHS Choices. A total of 700,000 copies of the bi-annual magazine are distributed free each year to pregnant women by their healthcare professional.
